Claudia is a self-proclaimed life enthusiast and curious spirit who continually explores the power of yoga in her own life. She is also the creative force behind Precious Breath Yoga.
Originally from Perth, Claudia started to practice yoga in her teenage years as a means to increase fitness and balance whilst surfing on the west coast beaches. Since then she has explored various forms of yoga, through which she has developed a love for sharing the restorative effect of syncing the breath with bodily movement to enhance life quality.
Claudia has conquered her own set of health challenges through yoga and mindfulness practices.
At the age of 22 she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. At the prime of her fitness, she began to feel totally helpless as it spread through her body and joints, debilitating her to the point where she couldn’t walk without assistance.
Little did she know at the time, this auto-immune disease would be her blessing in disguise.
Her journey in reclaiming health included learning how to love her body again, making health her primary priority and searching to gain a deeper awareness of how food, thoughts and environment were contributing to her quality of life.
Yoga and its teachings helped Claudia to reconnect to her body and heal from the inside out, bringing life affirming oxygen to muscles and joints. That was her inspiration behind the name Precious Breath Yoga.
Claudia’s incredible story now inspires people to break through their own self-imposed limitations to move toward a more fulfilled life, believing that good health extends far beyond simply looking good.
